The time has come for a renewal in the ranks of the Chevrolet World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) to be held next year. So far, the competing model par excellence was the Lacetti WTCC but has been outclassed by the new compact sedan for the brand, the Chevrolet Cruze. That is a key vehicle in the settlement of Chevrolet in Europe for the next few years, so this election is still more support. The truth is that the public hearing will coincide Chevrolet Cruze with the start of the WTCC season so you can appreciate how important this move to the interests of the brand, like the rest of GM is having his best time.
The company will be responsible for preparing RML Motorsport, which until now it has taken over the Lacetti WTCC tonfiicar. Of technical detail, little is known except what you see: new "patches" aerodynamic, ultra-lowered suspension, strict diet, safety cage, and so on. And under the hood, a 2.0-liter gasoline engine displacement and power unknown
